Jennings Family Journal: Excellent Read

I have had this book on my reading list for over a year now and for some reason I kept putting other books in front of it. I picked it up a couple of days ago and finished it last night. Excellent book that everyone should read!

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a loyal spirit within me. Psalms 51:10

"Obey Me, and I will be your God, and you will be My people. Do everything as I say, and all will be well!" Jeremiah 7:23

The Lord God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The Lord will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. Psalm 84:11

Sometimes we are so busy adding up our troubles that we forget to count our blessings. "I will remember the works of the Lord". Psalms 77:11

The secret of contentment is the realization that Life is a Gift, not a right. "But Godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world and we will carry nothing out". 1 Timothy 6:6-7

The grass may be greener on the other side, but it still has to be mowed. "Be content with such things as you have". Hebrews 13:5

Those who bring sunshine to the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves. "...whatever a man soweth, he shall also reap". Galations 6:7

"The joy of the Lord is your strength." Nehemiah 8:10

Thank God for the gift of motherhood today!
