My First Deer - A Six-Pointer

Wednesday night on our way to church I got my first deer, although not on purpose! I guess you could say it actually got us with $2,000 worth of damage to prove it. Thankfully no one was hurt! We were on our way to church at about 6:15, it was dark, we were on Martin Road. I looked up, saw the deer and immediately hit the deer. It happened that quick. John Michael never even knew what happened and Samuel couldn't wait to get to church to tell his buddies. It was sad actually to think that I had taken the life of a living animal.
